RENVA Health, LLC (“RENVA,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates a direct-to-consumer telehealth platform that connects members with licensed independent clinicians. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information when you use our website and services.

1. Information We Collect

Information You Provide

  • Account information: name, email address, date of birth, mailing address, and password.
  • Health information: intake questionnaire responses, hair loss history, prior treatments, medical flags, and any communications with your assigned clinician.
  • Payment information: credit or debit card details processed securely by Stripe. RENVA does not store full card numbers.
  • Communications: messages you send through our platform, support inquiries, and feedback.

Automatically Collected Information

  • IP address, browser type, device identifiers, and operating system.
  • Pages visited, time spent, referral URLs, and clickstream data.
  • Cookies and similar tracking technologies (see Section 6).

2. How We Use Your Information

  • Operate and deliver the RENVA platform, including intake processing and subscription management.
  • Facilitate the provision of clinical services by our licensed independent provider partners.
  • Transmit prescriptions to our licensed pharmacy partners for fulfillment and delivery.
  • Process payments and prevent fraud via our payment processor, Stripe.
  • Send transactional emails (order confirmations, shipping updates, prescription status) and, with your consent, marketing communications.
  • Analyze usage patterns to improve our services, user interface, and clinical protocols.
  • Comply with applicable law, respond to legal process, and enforce our Terms of Service.

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as described below:

  • Clinical partners: Your intake data and health information are shared with our clinical backend partner network (licensed independent telehealth providers) solely to evaluate your intake, issue prescriptions, and deliver care.
  • Pharmacy partners: Prescription information, name, and shipping address are transmitted to our state-licensed compounding pharmacy partners to dispense and ship your medication.
  • Payment processors: Stripe receives billing details to process subscription payments. Stripe’s privacy policy governs their use of your data.
  • Analytics and marketing tools: Aggregated, de-identified usage data may be shared with analytics providers. We use Klaviyo for email marketing; you may unsubscribe at any time.
  • Legal obligations: We may disclose information when required by law, subpoena, court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of RENVA, our members, or the public.
  • Business transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred to the successor entity.

4. HIPAA and Health Information

Certain health information you provide may constitute Protected Health Information (“PHI”) as defined under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (“HIPAA”). Our clinical provider partners are covered entities or business associates subject to HIPAA and handle your PHI accordingly.

5. Cookies and Tracking

We use the following types of cookies:

  • Essential cookies: Required for the platform to function (session management, authentication).
  • Analytics cookies: Help us understand how members navigate the site so we can improve it.
  • Marketing cookies: Used to measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling essential cookies may impair platform functionality.

6. Your Privacy Rights

  • Access and portability: You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correction: You may update inaccurate information through your dashboard or by contacting us.
  • Deletion: You may request deletion of your account and associated data, subject to our legal retention obligations.
  • Marketing opt-out: You may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in any email or by contacting us.

7. Data Security

We implement industry-standard technical and organizational safeguards including encryption in transit (TLS), encryption at rest, access controls, and regular security reviews. No system is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security of your information.

8. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide our services, comply with legal obligations (including applicable state medical record retention laws), resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Health information may be retained for a minimum of seven years following your last interaction with our platform.

9. Children’s Privacy

Our services are not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a prominent notice on our website. Your continued use of the platform after the effective date of a revised policy constitutes acceptance of the changes.
